Plans, credits, and render costs
Eliksir uses monthly plans and credits. You can explore the workflow before subscribing. When you’re ready to generate video, an active plan unlocks Style Check, Final render, and Add Credits.
This page explains the practical mechanics. The legal version remains in the Terms, but you should not need to read legal text to understand how pricing works.

What your plan unlocks
A plan unlocks paid rendering in Eliksir. Credits are the spend balance for render time, but Style Check, Final render, and Add Credits require an active plan.

With an active plan
An active plan unlocks the actions that use paid generation/render capacity.
- Run Style Check
- Render the Final video
- Use available credits for paid render actions
- Buy Add Credits when you need more render time
Important: if your plan ends, paid rendering requires an active plan again. If a post-cancellation grace window is available, it will be shown in Billing. This keeps Eliksir a true subscription product while making remaining credits visible until expiry.
Credit mechanics
How credits work
Credits are used for generation/render time. For planning purposes, one credit roughly maps to one second of generated video, although exact usage can vary by workflow and generation settings.
Estimates before render
Before paid render actions, Eliksir shows an estimated credit cost so you can decide before committing.
Expiry is visible
Credits expire 12 months after issue. Expiry dates are visible in Billing so they do not become a surprise.
Failed generation handling
Technical failures should not silently burn credits. Failed or interrupted generation is handled through the product and support flow.
Example: a 4:27 track is about 267 seconds, so a full render of that length is roughly 267 credits before retries or adjustments.
Add Credits
Need more render time?
Active subscribers can buy Add Credits when a project needs more render time than the monthly plan includes.
